Review and Evaluation
The quality and scientific merit of the Os Mundos da História Collection is assured by the permanent monitoring process it is subjected to by the Editorial Board and by the application of the double-blind, anonymous peer review method to all manuscripts proposed for publication.
All submitted proposals will first be assessed by the Editorial Board. Approved proposals will then be sent for evaluation by two specialists in a blind review. If necessary, a third blind review will be requested.
The Collection is directed by the CHSC’s Scientific Coordinator. It has an Editor who coordinates an Editorial Board composed of twelve national and international specialists in Medieval, Modern, and Contemporary History. This board includes historians from different historiographical backgrounds.
This careful and rigorous process will guarantee that the Collection’s quality and scientific merit, and that of each of the works published in it, are duly recognised in national and international historiographical production.
